Privacy Policy

Walpy is made by THE ALCHEMIST CODE LTD ("we"). This policy explains what the Walpy app handles, why, and how you can delete it. Walpy has no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
No account
Walpy does not ask for your name, email or phone number. When you first open the app it gets an anonymous identifier from Firebase Authentication (Google). That identifier holds your remaining creations and your purchases, and nothing else identifies you.
What you write, and the wallpapers
When you create wallpapers, the description you type, the style and palette you choose, and your screen size are sent to our server, which asks Google's Vertex AI image model to render them. We keep a short record of each creation (the description, how many images, how it was paid for and when) to count your allowance and to prevent abuse. The images themselves are sent to your device and are not stored on our servers. They are kept on your device until you delete them.
Please don't include personal information in descriptions.
Purchases
Subscriptions and packs are paid through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive your payment details. We receive the store's transaction identifier, check it with Apple or Google, and record which product you bought and, for subscriptions, when it expires.
Reports
If you report a wallpaper, we receive its description and the reason you chose, so we can review it.
Photos
Walpy asks only for permission to add photos, so it can save the wallpapers you choose. It never reads your photo library.
App integrity
To stop abuse, the app proves to our server that it is a genuine copy of Walpy using Apple App Attest or Google Play Integrity (Firebase App Check). This check does not identify you.
Service providers
Google (Firebase and Vertex AI) runs our server, storage and image generation. Apple and Google process purchases. Each handles data under its own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy, apple.com/legal/privacy.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep the records above while your anonymous identifier exists. In the app, Settings › Delete all my data removes your wallpapers from the device and immediately deletes the records of your creations, purchases and reports from our servers. You can also write to us; see Delete your data.
Earlier versions
This policy covers Walpy 4.0 and later. Versions of Walpy for Android before 4.0 were a wallpaper catalog that showed ads served by Google AdMob, which uses a device advertising identifier; see how Google uses information in ads. Updating to Walpy 4.0 removes the ads.
Children
Walpy is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
When this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
